Effective September 4, 2026
Fastpitch Rules is a service of High Sierra Creative LLC ("we," "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and High Sierra Creative LLC, and they cover the free Q&A tool at fastpitchrules.com and the paid branded league pages. By using either, you agree to them.
Fastpitch Rules gives plain-language answers to softball rules questions, with a citation to the rule we based the answer on. It's a reference tool, not an official ruling. The umpire on the field always has the final call. We do our best to keep answers accurate and current with USA Softball, USSSA, NFHS, NCAA, and NSA rulebooks, but we don't guarantee an answer is complete, current, or error-free, and we aren't affiliated with any governing body.
No account is required to ask a question. To keep the service available for everyone, we limit how many questions can be asked from one location in a short period. If you're rate-limited, wait a bit and try again.
If you claim a subdomain for your league, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the local rules and content you upload. You're granting us a license to host and display that content on your branded page — you keep ownership of it, and can remove it or close your account at any time.
Subdomains are claimed first-come, first-served. We can reclaim a subdomain that's been left unpublished and inactive for an extended period, or that infringes someone else's trademark.
Branded league pages are $199/year, billed by High Sierra Creative LLC through Stripe on an annual subscription. Charges may appear on your statement under High Sierra Creative LLC rather than Fastpitch Rules. Your subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel. See our refund policy for cancellation and refund details.
Don't use the service to submit unlawful, abusive, or harassing content, to upload rules content you don't have the right to share, or to try to circumvent rate limits or access other leagues' admin data.
The service is provided "as is." Answers are generated with the help of AI models and, like any reference tool, can occasionally be wrong or out of date. Always verify a ruling with your league or governing body before treating it as final, especially for anything that affects eligibility, safety, or a protest.
To the fullest extent the law allows, High Sierra Creative LLC — along with its owners, employees, and contractors — isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a call, ruling, or dispute made in reliance on an answer. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the effective date above, and for material changes, let league admins know by email.
The service is operated and billed by High Sierra Creative LLC. Notices about these terms should go to the address below.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada, and you and High Sierra Creative LLC each consent to those courts' jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
